Veggies

Tonight:
Squash patties
Baked beans
Steamed broccoli
Peaches and plums

And then I turned industrious: crepes with strawberry sauce for me and Clayton.

Lunch:
Macaroni & cheese (our leftover from the other night)
Spinach and "chicken" salad--carrots, crumbled hardboiled egg, cucumbers, tomatoes, red onion, and Morningstar parmesan-ranch chik patties sliced on top
Green grapes and sliced apple

The salad was so yummy and filling--a keeper.

You?

What kind of dressing did you put on the salad?

How do you make the egg rolls?

I've been cooking too:

Yesterday:

-turkey meatballs with an easy "sweet and sour sauce" of 2 cans Italian stewed tomatoes and 2 cans of whole berry cranbery sauce, with a splash of orange juice
-rice
-steamed asparagas
-strawberries
-drumsticks for dessert (the ice cream ones)

tonight:

-stirfry veggies (frozen from Trader Joes with broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, baby corns, red bell peppers and some other stuff with a good stir fry sauce
-brown rice
-tofu

(all mixed together)
-the kids had frozen chicken breast nuggets and ate the veggies and rice but no tofu, as they don't like it
-peaches and plums (us too!)
-chocolate covered pretzels for dessert

Honey balsamic for Clayton and just regular zesty Italian for me...jarred.

The eggrolls were frozen...yuck. I wish they had been homemade!
